As we all know, plastic die steel needs a good polishing skill to reflect the essential properties of die materials, but polishing problem has always been a difficult problem that enterprises can not fundamentally solve. Hashimoto Industries has met the requirements of grinding technology recognized by high-quality customer enterprises. Experts pointed out that increasingly sophisticated technology has created mirror finishing effects that cannot be imitated, from suggestions on the use of steel to the solution of micro-holes and other issues, as well as precision parts with complex shapes.
The biggest problem encountered in polishing is "excessive polishing". Overpolishing refers to the longer polishing time, the worse the surface quality of the die.
There are two phenomena when excessive polishing occurs, namely "orange peel" and "micro-pit", and excessive polishing occurs mostly in mechanical polishing.
The irregular and rough surface of "orange peel" is called "orange peel". There are many different reasons for producing "orange peel". The most common reasons are too much polishing pressure, too long polishing time and improper polishing methods. If the surface quality is not good, many people will increase the polishing pressure and prolong the polishing time, and the improper polishing process will often make the surface quality worse.
The formation of "micro-pits", "micro-pits" or "sand holes" is due to non-metallic inclusions (impurities) of steel, usually hard and brittle oxides, which are pulled out from the surface of steel during polishing and form "micro-pits" or "sand holes".
?The main influencing factors are as follows: 1. polishing pressure and polishing time; 2. purity of steel, especially the content of hard inclusions (impurities); 3. polishing tools; 4. abrasive materials.
